Professional specialist dry cleaning only. Please use a trusted luxury garment or couture dry cleaner experienced in handling fine fabrics, silks, tulles, hand-beading and embellished garments.
Do not machine wash, hand wash, steam heavily, tumble dry, bleach or spot-clean with domestic products, as moisture, heat and pressure may affect the beading, silk, tulle or internal structure.

Handling

When handling garments, ensure hands are clean and dry. Avoid pulling, twisting or placing pressure on any molded, beaded or embellished areas. Jewellery, watches, handbags, textured accessories and sharp surfaces may catch on delicate fabrics or beadwork, so care should be taken when dressing and wearing.

Wearing

Each garment is designed as a luxury fashion item and occasion piece.
With highly embellished or detailed items, avoid prolonged friction from chair backs, vehicle seats, heavy handbags or rough surfaces. Take particular care when seated, embracing others, or moving through crowded spaces, as the beading and tulle may be vulnerable to snagging.

Storage

Store pieces in the supplied Johanna Johnson cloth cover or garment bag when not in use. The piece should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, heat and strong artificial light, as these may affect the delicate fabric, beading, or tone of any embellishment setting over time.

For best preservation, store pieces flat where possible, or gently hung on a padded hanger with the weight evenly supported. Avoid compressing garments beneath other pieces, as pressure may disturb any embellishment, beadwork, or bruise any silk linings.

After Wear

After wearing, allow the piece/s to air naturally before returning to the cloth cover/s.
Do not spray perfume, hairspray or cosmetics directly onto the garment.
Any marks or concerns should be assessed by a specialist dry cleaner rather than treated at home.

Travel

When travelling, keep the piece/s in the supplied protective cloth cover/s and avoid folding tightly. If folding is required, place acid-free tissue between layers and ensure any embellished or beaded areas are not pressed against one another. On arrival, unpack the piece/s as soon as possible and allow them to rest (flat) naturally.

Long-Term Preservation

As each item is a Limited Edition piece, individually numbered and signed for provenance, we recommend storing it with its accompanying documentation and avoiding unnecessary cleaning. Clean only when required, and always through a specialist service.

With considered care, all of our items are designed to be preserved as an heirloom pieces - worn, collected and treasured for years to come.

Each piece is created specifically once your order has been placed, allowing the House to maintain considered production, reduce unnecessary waste, and preserve the quality, rarity and craftsmanship of each design.

Due to the made-to-order nature of our fashion pieces - including material allocation, specialist construction, hand-finishing, embellishment where applicable, and dedicated production time - we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for change of mind once production has commenced.

As each item is produced especially for you, it cannot be returned to general stock in the same manner as a standard ready-to-wear item. We therefore ask that you carefully review all product details, sizing, colour, delivery timing and styling information prior to purchase.
